The concentration of the solution depends on the amount of matter dissolved in the solvent. Solubility is the solvent at a given temperature, the maximum amount of substances can be dissolved. Organic solvents are mainly used for dry cleaning (e.g., four vinyl chloride) for coating thinner (e.g. toluene, turpentine), for washing nail water or removing glue (e.g. acetone, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate), derusting (e.g. hexane), as detergent (lemon extract), used for perfume (alcohol) and for chemical synthesis (chemical synthesis).
It is customary to call gases and solids as solutes, liquids called solvents.
