4-Methyl-2-pentanone is a colorless, transparent liquid with a pleasant ketone-like fragrance. It is slightly soluble in water and soluble in most organic solvents. It can be miscible with most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and benzene, and animal and vegetable oils. Stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources, store temperature is not easy to exceed 37 °C, keep the container sealed.
