Application | 1.Propyl acetate has strong solubility to oil. It can dissolve almost all natural oil except palm oil. To combine with alcohol, the mixed solvent's solubility will be highly enhanced. For example, combined with ethanol, n-propyl acetate can dissolve phthalic acids, which are difficult to be dissolved by other common solvents. It is used as azeotrope in PTA production. |
